Users appreciate that these shoes do not require a breaking-in period, allowing for immediate use, even on long runs like half marathons. The shoe's fit is Consistently described as accurate, providing a comfortable experience even when adjusting for weight and the use of orthotic insoles. Particularly noted for their shock absorption and support, the Glycerin 20 is highly recommended for heavier runners, with feedback highlighting how they alleviate stress on joints during workouts and daily activities. Many customers remark on their functionality not just for running but also for extended walking or sightseeing due to the comfortable cushioning and overall design. Despite these strengths, there's a mild caveat mentioned regarding the initial sensation of the shoe, where some users felt the heel cushioning could take getting used to, likening it to a “squishy” feeling at first. In conclusion, the Brooks Men's Glycerin 20 Running Shoe stands out for its exceptional comfort, fit, and support, especially for those carrying additional weight or looking for versatile footwear. **
