- EXTENDED COMPATIBILITY: In some cases (for example, in some of the CX series) you may have two available ports – one exposed port as well as a shrouded mirror covering another port. In this instance we recommend using installing our 10-Pin Type A into the exposed port for a faster and easier installation (although you can choose to install the 10-Pin Type E under the shroud for a more OEM looking result).
- AUTO-DIMMING REQUIREMENT: This Dongar dash cam adapter requires an auto-dimming or powered rearview mirror (such as a mirror with garage buttons) to function. Adapter will fit under rearview mirror protective plastic cover
- IGNITION-ACTIVATED POWER: This adapter powers your dash cam or other USB-powered device when your vehicle's ignition is ON – it is not intended for parking mode or other constant power applications.
