This Accuquilt GO! Square 5" Die is advertised as cutting a 5" square of fabric, corresponding to the standard size of pre-packaged charm squares. It is set crooked to make it easier to cut by putting pressure on only a portion of the front blade at any given moment in time. The 6 inch by 12-inch die is compatible with the GO! Me cutter, but it isn't compatible with the Go Baby. The instruction on the Accuquilt's site chart can be used for compatibility on the dies. You cannot use layer cakes with this die since there is a space between the two 5" squares. A rotary cutter might be ideal in this situation. Customers found this die expensive, accurate, and easy to use, making fabric cutting easy and uniform. Some customers reported quality control issues and mentioned that no seam allowance is included in the cut.
