Can these brackets be used to mount from top of the shelf?
répondre: Yes. They could be mounted from above. I would ensure that the wall attachment be attached by toggle screws or wing mounts. After-all these brackets are holding a lot of weight. From the bottom the weight puts pressure on the wall end of the bracket whereas from the top there would be no downward pressure to hold the brackets braced upon the wall. I would not put much weight on the shelves. -

répondre: The packet I bought had 12 brackets which was a lot more economical than buying the smaller packages. If you are hanging heavy things it's a good idea to space the brackets closer together. -

répondre: I think you are asking can you reverse it so it comes from the top instead of the bottom you can do it that way just make sure the shelf wire is correct but the weight different coming from top is about 1/5 of the weight it can hold as a bottom support. -

répondre: The end of the bracket on the shelf rolls into the shelf before attaching to the wa. -

répondre: I would not think so. These are rigid brackets and would require some modifications (bending) to meet a 45-degree mounting.
