    répondre: I live in South Texas where today the winds are 25mph gusting up to 40mph so I think our winds would tear it up if used on a pole outside. I have my flag - framed and hung on the side of front porch... seems to be holding up well but again, it's protected somewhat. it's well made but not a heavy cloth. Hope this helps.
