KEEN Utility Industrial & Construction Boots Editorial Review
The Keen Evanston work boots have received a mixed reception from users, showcasing a range of experiences that highlight both commendable qualities and significant drawbacks. On one hand, many reviewers express high praise for the comfort and durability of the boots, particularly in demanding work environments such as Construction and landscaping. Users have successfully tackled tasks ranging from climbing ladders to enduring harsh weather conditions, remaining dry and supported throughout the day. The boots are noted for their lightweight design, excellent tread, and sturdy materials, making them a viable option for those seeking dependable work footwear. However, the reception is not universally positive. Several customers have reported issues with sizing, indicating that the boots run small and narrow compared to other Keen models, which has led to dissatisfaction and returns for those with wider feet. Some users also criticized the laces for being too short, further complicating the fit. Moreover, significant concerns were raised about the purported waterproof qualities of the Evanstons. One USPS worker highlighted that the boots failed to keep water out, even through the soles, leading to wet socks after routine exposure to snow and puddles. These issues have prompted some to question the reliability of Keen's water-resistant claims. In summary, while the Keen Evanston work boots can deliver comfort and durability in various work scenarios, potential buyers should Consider looking out for sizing inConsistencies and be cautious if waterproof performance is a primary concern. **
