ALPAKA USB Cables Editorial Review
**Editorial Review** The ALPAKA HUB USB Lanyard is a unique accessory that combines the functionality of a USB-C cable with the convenience of a lanyard. Users generally appreciate its high-quality build and the thoughtful design that aligns with the ALPAKA ecosystem. The lanyard elegantly integrates with other ALPAKA products, especially for those already invested in the company’s hub system, which allows users to attach various compatible devices magnetically. Many customers highlight the cable's robust Construction, supported by a textured rubber cover, which offers durability compared to non-OEM counterparts. Yet, several reviews point out the lanyard's limitations when used independently. Without other compatible products in the ALPAKA lineup, it feels like a costly purchase for a standalone USB-C cable. Additionally, the lack of a base or keychain to assist beginners with the hub system has been noted as a missed opportunity, particularly given its $35 price tag. However, usability concerns arise, particularly regarding the lanyard's length and the size of the clip, which some find cumbersome. Reviewers mention that the lanyard can end up hanging too low, which can be awkward for everyday wear. Customers feel it could have been enhanced with an included magnetic pull tab for improved practicality. Overall, the ALPAKA HUB USB Lanyard is well-received by fans of the brand and the hub system, but its value appears to be greatest for customers who already own other ALPAKA products. New users might find it less effective without supplementary items to complement the lanyard’s design. **
