The Backyard Discovery Oakmont playset is a popular choice among customers who are looking for a moderately priced and easy to assemble playset. The set comes complete with all the necessary hardware and clear instructions for assembly. Customers were pleased with the easy to understand directions with some even being able to assemble it alone. The wood is stained upon arrival and smells great, but some customers choose to apply a clear coat to extend its life. Customers did indicate that the wood is soft and can splinter easily, so expect to replace some boards eventually. However, for the price, the quality is fair and sturdy enough for younger children, but not designed to support heavier loads. The monkey bar was a hit among children and the sandbox option was a nice added touch. Overall, customers were happy with their purchase and felt that it offers an excellent value for the price.
