Questions et réponses des clients

question: What is the range of the Absolute AWH22 Infrared Wireless Stereo Dual Headphone?

répondre: The Absolute AWH22 Infrared Wireless Stereo Dual Headphone has an effective range of up to 20 meters (or approximately 65 feet) in open spaces. This means you can enjoy your favorite audio content without worrying about losing connection as you move around your space. Ideal for use while watching TV, listening to music, or gaming, the infrared technology ensures stable transmission, free from interference. It's perfect for those who want to enjoy high-quality sound in different rooms or even while doing household chores.
question: How does the IR wireless transmitter work with the Absolute AWH22?

répondre: The IR wireless transmitter included with the Absolute AWH22 converts audio signals into infrared light waves. These waves are then received by the headphones, allowing for a wireless listening experience. This technology eliminates the need for cumbersome wires and offers high-quality sound. It’s particularly effective in environments where you want to maintain a clean look or when you’re on the move. For instance, if you're relaxing in your living room, you can easily connect the transmitter to your TV and enjoy your favorite series without disturbing others.
question: Can I connect multiple headphones to one transmitter?

répondre: No, the Absolute AWH22’s transmitter is designed to support only one headphone at a time. This means if you want to share audio with someone else, they would need their own set of Absolute AWH22 headphones. This is beneficial for personalized listening preferences, especially in shared spaces like living rooms or entertainment areas. For example, if you and a friend are watching a movie, each can have their own set of headphones to adjust the volume and sound settings to their liking.
question: What types of devices are compatible with the Absolute AWH22?

répondre: The Absolute AWH22 is versatile and can be connected to a variety of devices, including TVs, home theater systems, computers, and gaming consoles. Most devices with audio output capabilities can work seamlessly with the IR transmitter. This adaptability makes it perfect for movie nights, gaming sessions, or listening to music from your computer. For instance, if you're gaming, you can plug the transmitter into your console, ensuring uninterrupted audio while you enjoy your gameplay.
question: How long does the battery last in the Absolute AWH22 headphones?

répondre: The Absolute AWH22 headphones feature a rechargeable battery that can last up to 12 hours on a single charge, depending on usage conditions. This allows for long listening sessions without the need for frequent recharging. Whether you're binge-watching your favorite series or listening to audiobooks during a long commute, you can enjoy uninterrupted sound. Additionally, the headphones come with a charging base, making it convenient to keep them powered up when not in use.
question: Is the sound quality of the Absolute AWH22 headphones good?

répondre: Yes, the Absolute AWH22 headphones are designed to deliver high-fidelity stereo sound. The infrared technology minimizes interference, offering crisp audio and rich bass. This makes them suitable for various types of audio, from intricate classical compositions to booming action film soundtracks. Audiophiles will appreciate the sound clarity, making them an excellent choice for music enthusiasts. For instance, when streaming a concert, the headphones provide an immersive experience that allows you to feel as if you are in the front row.
question: Are the Absolute AWH22 headphones comfortable for extended wear?

répondre: Absolutely! The Absolute AWH22 headphones are designed with comfort in mind, featuring cushioned ear cups that fit securely yet gently around your ears. This design allows for extended use without discomfort, making them ideal for long listening sessions or movie marathons. For many users, comfort is crucial, especially while gaming or watching a series for hours on end. The adjustable headband also ensures a customized fit for various head sizes, enhancing the overall user experience.
question: What is the charging method for the Absolute AWH22 headphones?

répondre: The Absolute AWH22 headphones utilize a convenient charging dock to recharge their built-in battery. Simply place the headphones on the dock, and they will start charging automatically. This method not only ensures that they are ready for use when you want them but also reduces wear and tear on the headphone's ports. It’s a practical solution for busy lifestyles, allowing you to charge them while not in use, so they're always charged up for your next audio adventure.
question: Do the Absolute AWH22 headphones have a built-in microphone?

répondre: The Absolute AWH22 headphones do not feature a built-in microphone, as they are primarily designed for audio output rather than two-way communication. This focus on high-quality sound performance makes them perfect for listening to music, watching movies, or gaming. If you need a microphone for calls or online meetings, consider using a separate headset that meets that specific requirement. This distinction is beneficial for users who prioritize sound quality in their audio experience.

Absolute USA Car Headphones ‎AWH22 Editorial Review

** Absolute AWH22 Infrared Wireless Stereo Dual Headphone with IR Wireless Transmitter** The Absolute AWH22 Infrared Wireless Stereo Dual Headphone system has received mixed reviews from customers, highlighting both its strengths and weaknesses. Users particularly appreciate the system's ability to support two separate audio channels, allowing each child to enjoy different video programs during long car rides. The wireless functionality eliminates messy cables in the passenger area, greatly enhancing the overall travel experience. Customers have reported that the sound quality is clear and the noise level low, contributing to a more peaceful environment in the vehicle or home. However, there are some notable drawbacks that Consumers have experienced. A common complaint revolves around comfort, with many users finding the headphones uncomfortable due to excess pressure on the ears and a less than ideal fit. This discomfort can lead to frequent adjustments, and some have noted that durability is a concern as certain components may not withstand repeated handling. Additionally, while the headphones do offer decent sound quality, several users feel it lacks the clarity and high-end frequency necessary for overcoming road noise, resulting in a subpar audio experience compared to more contemporary options. The transmitter is generally well-received for its small size and efficient placement options, although it does require an external 12V power supply not included in the kit, which has been an inconvenience for some. The requirement for a line-of-sight connection for optimal performance has led to reports of signal inConsistency, particularly during longer trips or when obstacles block the IR signal. Ultimately, the Absolute AWH22 system serves as a budget-friendly option for those seeking a wireless headphone solution for children during travel, but potential buyers should weigh the drawbacks in comfort and audio fidelity against the product’s affordable price point. **
