It comes with a stop and an extension, however, attaching a sacrificial fence may render the stop useless. Users may purchase an additional clamp if required. Though the gauge is quite sturdy, it can be damaged if one is rough with it. The gauge may not be useful for a contractor/jobsite saw as the weight is distributed towards the front of the saw. Overall, users experience accurate, stable, Consistent and repeatable cuts with the miter gauge, making it a valuable tool. Adjustment is required for fence setup and some degree of trial-and-error was experienced by some users in the setup process. While some users had issues with the gauge wobbling around the center shoulder bolt, it seems others were able to eliminate this issue by adjusting correctly.
