Clarks Loafers & Slip-Ons Editorial Review
Despite being a well-respected company, Clark's seems to have dropped the ball with their Clarkslite Ave Loafer. One customer mentions that the shoe is too narrow for their intended use as church wear. Another customer experienced a defect with the shoe, as the sole started to separate from the shoe. Unfortunately, Clark's customer care was not able to provide any assistance in resolving this issue. These negative experiences suggest that customers should avoid purchasing this particular shoe. On the positive side, one customer mentions that the shoes are comfortable and lightweight, making them suitable for daily work wear. They found them dressy enough for business wear and were planning on purchasing another pair despite the sole not lasting longer than 2-3 months with daily wear. Another customer appreciated the fit and look of the shoes but mentioned a persistent squeaking sound while walking. This issue was not experienced with other shoes and did not improve with use. Some customers also had difficulties with the shoe's design. One customer found the shoes difficult to put on due to the small opening and short elastic stretch length. Another customer, who had been a loyal customer of Clark's for years, was disappointed with the new loafers as the shorter elastic inset made it impossible for him to get his foot into the shoe. This issue was Consistent with both styles that were ordered. Overall, the Clarkslite Ave Loafer has received mixed reviews. While some customers appreciated the comfort and lightweight design, there were significant issues with the shoe's fit, durability, and design that caused dissatisfaction among many customers.
