This code reader is designed to give you full access to the OBD2 functions, allowing you to read and clear fault codes, turn off the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL), and display Freeze Frame data. Not only does the JDIAG OBD2 Scanner provide you with basic diagnostic functions, but it also offers advanced features.
You can view live data in a graph, such as engine RPM, temperatures, ignition advance, and speed, to better analyze the abnormal parameters. Additionally, this scanner has a built-in DTC lookup library with cause analysis, so you can easily identify the root cause of any issues. One of the standout features of this scanner is its ability to retrieve vehicle information. It can retrieve VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), CID (Calibration ID), and CVN (Calibration verification number), which can be extremely helpful when it comes to repairs or parts replacements. Using the YA101 Code Reader is a breeze.
Simply locate the Data Link Connector (DLC) under the driver's side dash, connect the tool, and turn the ignition switch to the "on" position. The tool will attempt to identify the vehicle automatically. If it cannot identify the vehicle, you can manually select the vehicle from the provided menus. The YA101 Code Reader is compatible with a wide variety of vehicles.
It supports American cars from 2000 to now, European cars from 2003 to now, Japanese/Korean cars from 2006 to now, and Chinese cars from 2009 to now. Please note that the YA101 only supports 12V cars and does not support 24V trucks. In the package, you will receive one YA101 Code Reader and an English User Manual.
