Do they leak when the jars aren't upright?
répondre: They don’t really leak If you just shake it with the cover on, but if you turn them upside down for a while they do leak (I make fridge pickles and in order to have the top cucumber be covered with the brine so it tastes like a pickle it is important to me that they truly be leakproof so I can leave them upside down for one day). -

répondre: Yes, they screw onto the threads at the top of the jar. Just an FYI, they are not leakproof (nor do I think they claim to be, just just a heads up). -

répondre: The package we received has a label MADE IN CHINA. -

what is the actual measurements on the big mouth lids?
répondre: They're the exact same size as other wide-mouth canning jar lids. However, this brand is really horrible. It takes a lot of effort to get them on the jar straight. I'd stick with Ball-brand if I were you.
