In terms of gain and phantom power, a Focusrite preamp is sufficient. You could use this microphone with a Scarlett and a dbx compressor without issue. To connect the microphone to your PC for recording voice, you require an interface device for phantom power supply. The mic is a neutral one with a brighter tone can be EQ'd as you like.
