Although lacking a mallet, the set is a great tool for beginners to learn what the tools are for and how to make smaller items. However, some users complain that most of the tools fall out of the storage bag, which makes it pretty useless. The stamps are dull and do not give a good impression. The swivel blade is dull upon delivery, and the skiving knife is almost pointless. The set is not intended for professional use but on a smaller scale than show/rodeo saddle.
