However, some customers found it difficult to open and close and suggested that it would be better if the top or side of the lantern opened for lighting. The lanterns are well made and a great value, and they are perfect for Christmas ornaments. Some customers prefer solar lanterns over these candle lanterns. Overall, the quality seems nice for the price, but there were a few cases of broken glass and missing parts in some lanterns.
