The cooking pot is stainless steel with no coating, and the kettle is detachable for easy cleaning. The machine works well and is great for popping popcorn in a one-to-one ratio of oil and popcorn, like a quarter cup of oil and popcorn, for tastier results. It works well with Mega pop by gold medal popcorn. The glass door is better than the previous brittle plastic doors. However, the machine is made out of pretty flimsy material given the price point, which is high. The metal parts can be bent, and the top panel inside the machine may rust after several months. The swing door on the top hinge has an odd-shaped pin that may cause issues during operation. The popcorn machine may also produce a lot of smoke during use. There is also no auto-off option, and cook quality isn't always Consistent.
