Bolt Action Game Pieces WRLBAA02 Editorial Review
The US Paratroopers Squad, a set of 28mm Bolt Action Wargaming Miniatures, draws mixed reviews from its users. On one hand, hobbyists appreciate the complexity and challenge that comes with assembling these metal figures, which feature a squad from the 101st Airborne during the Normandy Invasion. The set includes a range of weaponry, such as rifles, submachine guns, and a two-man light machine gun (LMG) team, appealing to those looking to enhance their existing miniature forces with historical accuracy. However, the reception is clouded by concerns regarding the quality and craftsmanship of the miniatures. Many users find the sculpting and casting to fall short of expectations, particularly when compared to the more recent offerings from the same brand. The higher price point for what some describe as a mediocre product further compounds these criticisms, leaving a bittersweet impression for buyers who anticipated a premium experience. While the included bases are a thoughtful addition, confusion surrounding their compatibility with certain models, particularly the LMG team, indicates a lack of attention to detail in the product design. Overall, the US Paratroopers Squad miniatures provide a challenging assembly experience but are hampered by inConsistent quality, pricing concerns, and some usability issues with assembly. **
