The Nicot Queen Rearing Kit is an all-in-one tool for beekeepers to start rearing their own queens. The components come from France and do not include DVD instructions, but the manufacturer recommends using YouTube to familiarise oneself with the procedure. The kit is bagged in a 10 by 24-inch bag, making it convenient to travel with. Although the Nicot Queen Rearing Kit is an authentic European item and well-made, some beekeepers experienced difficulties. Bees removed the eggs from the cells after the queen was released, and sometimes out of one hundred ten cells, only fifty had viable eggs, making it a huge waste of cells. However, some had success using the kit, while others abandoned it and opted for Chinese grafting tools. The Nicot Queen Rearing Kit is convenient but expensive when compared to rearing queens without the kit.
