This Cuisinart Coffee Brewer is a high-quality product that brews flavorful coffee, designed to be a little hotter and slower than most drip coffee machines, enhancing the flavor profile. It comes with a built-in water filter, and the filter basket is easy to remove and clean. Customers recommend the thermal carafe, which is designed with a one-way valve built in to the lid that helps to minimize the amount of air that can enter the pot. Pre-heating the carafe with hot water is advised for optimal temperature, and the carafe keeps the coffee nice and hot without using a burner. The build quality is very good and customers expect the machine to last a long time. However, some customers have reported problematic design flaws. The clip on the filter basket that holds it in place is weak and fails, which prevents the coffee from draining with the carafe under it. Further, the LCD fades over a moderately short period of time, and the carafe’s thermal performance is a little weak.
