    répondre: The display unit can last over a year without the need to change batteries.

    répondre: The main unit cannot be hung on a wall, only the outside unit can be hung.

    répondre: Yes, you can choose between Celsius and Fahrenheit for the temperature display.

    répondre: It works with the remote sensor that comes with the main unit. I'm not familiar with the THR128 remote sensor.
  • question: How far away can the unit be placed from the sensor?

    répondre: If placed indoors, around 200 to 300 feet might work if visible through a window. If placed in a condo with a wood wall and no window, around 100 to 150 feet seems to work fine.
  • question: If I want to add an additional remote sensor, what is the model number?

    répondre: The TGR122N & TGR122NX will not work with it. Please refer to this link for sensors that work with the BAR208HGX: [link].
  • question: Does it light up at night by pushing a separate button?

    répondre: Yes, there is a button labeled 'LIGHT' that lights up the entire screen with a soft orange-white light.
  • question: If I have the correct time on the unit, why does my outside temperature not show on the face of the unit?

    répondre: I have experienced a different problem with this unit. Whenever I set the time, it loses 3 hours soon after setting. The instructions do not help. I would not recommend this unit.
  • question: How quickly will it record the change of +/- .1 of a degree when the sensor is placed indoors and close to the main unit?

    répondre: It is very sensitive. The change will most likely occur as soon as the sensor temperatures from one location to the next stabilize, perhaps a minute or two.
  • question: Why does an alarm ring at 4:30 am every day? How do I turn it off?

    répondre: Mine did not come with an alarm. Please refer to the instructions that came with your unit or contact the company's support for assistance in setting and turning off the alarm.
