The Enoz Moth-Tek Packets are designed to protect clothes, carpets, and other fabrics from the damage caused by moths, carpet beetles, and their larvae and eggs. The lavender scent is intended to provide a pleasant aroma while still providing effective protection. However, some customers have complained that the scent is overpowering and smells more like mothballs than lavender. Despite this, many customers have found the scent pleasant and effective in protecting their clothing and other items. Some customers have also noted other uses for mothballs, such as retarding tarnish on sterling items. The packaging claims that the 12 oz. bag contains enough packets to cover 37.5 cubic feet, and based on the number of packets required to cover 15 cubic feet, it is estimated that there are around 40 packets in the bag.
