Bristows Gummy Candy Editorial Review
The Bristows Traditional Strawberry Bon Bons have garnered a mixed reception from customers, showcasing a variety of experiences that highlight both the appeal and drawbacks of the product. On one hand, some users have praised them, likening them to a delightful gift that has prompted repeat orders from family members, particularly in Scotland. These customers appreciate the nostalgic feel of the bon bons and their sweet, sugary coating. However, a significant portion of feedback reflects disappointment with the candies, particularly with their texture and taste. Many expected a chewy bon bon, similar to rhubarb-custard varieties, but found the outer powdery shell misleading, revealing a hard toffee center that is challenging to chew. This has led to complaints about the confectionery being unappealing, chalky, or even stale, suggesting that the product may not have met freshness expectations. The flavor profile, especially the artificial taste of strawberry, has also been called into question, with some likening the taste to soap. Moreover, the size of the bag has been critiqued, as Consumers feel that the quantity does not justify the price. In summary, while the Bristows Traditional Strawberry Bon Bons have supporters who appreciate their nostalgia and sweetness, a substantial number of customers find themselves disappointed by the hard texture and artificial flavor, making it a polarizing choice in the world of sweets. **
