It fits all grills that use the Swaptop interchangeable cooktops, including the RoadTrip 285. The center isn't actually a griddle, but the solid portion is ribbed, helping melt fat roll away. However, there's a cooler lip in the middle which makes it as if you are cooking on two different grills instead of one flat surface. The griddle should be cured with heat and cooking oil to prevent rust, but anything with a porcelain coating is NOT true cast iron.
