  • question: Will these tires work on a troybilt lawn tractor?

    répondre: I own a Craftsman Lawn tractor and these were a good fit. The one thing I think you will have to consider is how much space is between your tires and rear fender at the present time? These tires add about 1/2' fro tire to fender. If you get the same size tire that is currently on your tractor and you have the space, these may be for you.
  • question: Is this a pair of tires?

    répondre: No. They are sold individually. I purchased 2 (for the rear tires of my lawn tractor) and they work great! Especially for hills.
  • question: Can I use a 14 x 4.5 - 6 on a rim that had a 15 x 6.00 - 6

    répondre: You could if you really needed too,BUT I WOULD ADVISE AGAINST IT!!!!!! That middle number refer's to the tires height,if the tires on your mower are the 15x6.00-6,I would stay with that size,if you go to the 14x4.50-6 that would put you 1 1/2 inches lower to the ground,which in turn would effect the height of your deck itself. If you want to put lug tires on your mower I would stay with the same size tire that is on it now,but the lugged tire version would be a very good investment and idea,but like I said I would stay with the same size tire you have on it now,and be on the safe side,instead of being sorry later.
  • question: Why doesn't carlisle make this type of tire in a 20 x 8 x 8 size, as most of the cub cadet lawn tractors have that size on the back wheels?

    répondre: This tire is used on the front of Kubota and MF small tractors, I'd suggest you ask Carlisle for the why, perhaps they do from another vendor
  • question: Bead width of 13x5.00-6 tire?

    répondre: 13 is the outside diameter of the tire. 5.00 is the bead width. Six is the outside diameter of the rim
  • question: My husband has an older tiller that needs new tires. the current tires have 13 x 5.00-6 n hs on them. what does the n hs stand far?

    répondre: The 13 is the tire height in inches when inflated and not under load. The 5.00 is the tire tread width in inches. The 6 is the rim diameter. The NHS just means 'Not for Highway Service' (ie. off-road use only).
  • question: I have an older John Deere 185 with 18 x 8.50-8NHS, will 18x9.50-8 fit? My guess is this will add 1/2 inch width on each side from the center.

    répondre: My guess is it will work. the tire is wider but should be Ok. my tires are wider than my rims, It works great, looks great also.
