répondre: No, this will not control your flame height. If you have a millivolt valve you could get the Skytech RCT-MLT-III remote control and it would control the flame and also the fan. If you have a SIT valve or some other brand valve there are other options as well. répondre: Hi, My remote is mounted in the hallway witch is at a 90 degree angle and about 12 feet in distance with the brick side of the fireplace in the line of site between the receiver and the remote and it works perfectly. -

This remote comes with a timer and thermostat that makes it easier to use and control your fireplace. The product is easy to install; just add batteries to the remote and pair it with your existing receiver box. The remote works well when pointed at the receiver, and it can be used even at a distance of 12 feet away. If you have a millivolt valve, the Skytech RCT-MLT-III remote control will be more suitable as it would control the flame and the fan.
