Each log burns for up to 2 hours, providing ample time to clean and maintain your chimney. To achieve the best results, use one CSL - Creosote Sweeping Log every 60 fires. How many CSLs do you need? For weekend use, one log per season is sufficient.
If you have one fire per day, use two logs per season, and for continuous fire, use one log every 2 months. If you have a small fireplace/flue, use one log at least every 60 fires. For larger fireplaces/flues, use two logs at the same time to render creosote brittle and aid in mechanical cleaning in case of heavy creosote build-up.
