DMT D2K 2.5-Inch Dia-Sharp Diamond Mini-Hone Kit of CFE - Multi-Colour

**** The DMT D2K 2.5-Inch Dia-Sharp Diamond Mini-Hone Kit has garnered a mixed reception from customers, particularly in terms of performance and durability. Many users have praised the effectiveness of these small diamond hones for sharpening garden tools, scissors, and knives, highlighting their ability to restore a sharp edge quickly. Some reviewers noted that they successfully used the hones to sharpen items like circular saw blades and garden pruners, achieving satisfactory results with relative ease. However, concerns about the product's robustness were frequently mentioned. Several reviews indicated that while the hones work well, they feel flimsy and may not hold up to heavier use, particularly if too much pressure is applied. Some users reported experiencing wear and discoloration on the files after limited use, leading to doubts about the longevity of these hones given their premium price point. To compound these durability issues, customers expressed significant frustration regarding the lack of comprehensive usage instructions. Many felt that the product did not come with sufficient guidance, resulting in suboptimal sharpening experiences for some users. Attempts to seek further assistance from DMT's customer support proved largely unproductive, with inadequate instructional resources available and limited response from the company. In summary, while the DMT D2K Mini-Hone Kit is capable of providing a good edge on various tools, its perceived fragility and the insufficient instructional support have left some customers feeling disappointed. The effectiveness of the hones in achieving sharpness does not seem to offset concerns about their Construction quality and the lack of user guidance. **
