Answer: It has small lips on the top and bottom if it fell face down. But, the side rails are exposed so a drop at the right angle is going to cause the screen to hit. That's with most cases on any Samsung with this edge though. Even the OtterBox defenders have a similar design now so that one can still use the edge screen with no issues. -

Answer: Sadly it's due to popularity of certain colors. They jack the prices up when they see good interest. Disgusting. -

Answer: Depends how thick it is. I don't recommend using it like that. If magnet is not right up to its mount it won't hold strong. I would just stick it directly to the tech21 case instead.
