The MATCHFIT Dado Stop Pro by MICROJIG is a sturdy and good quality tool that enables the cutting of Dado up to a width of 1-5/8". The maximum thickness is determined by the saw blade used. The Dado Stop references off the ends of the stock, so how far into a part you can cut a dado is determined by the saw's rip fence capacity. While it is not intuitive to set up, with some research on YouTube, the tool can be used to create different cuts, including double-lapped photo frames. Despite a few negative reviews citing cuts to be off slightly, the majority of customers found the tool to be usable, of good quality, and providing accurate cuts.
